    Vbox7 will offer music videos of Warner Music

    Bulgarian media company Netinfo part of Nova Broadcasting Group, and Warner Music Group (WMG) signed a joint partnership for the full video catalog of the music giant. Thanks to it more than 13,000 videos and over 3000 world-music artists will become part of Vbox7.com.

    This is the first partnership for licensing of content between digital Bulgarian company and world record brand like Warner.

    11 Bulgarian companies will participate in CeBIT 2017 in Hanover

    A total of 11 Bulgarian companies will participate in this year's edition of the traditional international exhibition of information and communication technologies CeBIT in Hanover, Germany, which will be held from 20-24 March 2017.

    During the exhibition the Executive Agency for Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises (ASME) set up a Bulgarian national stand, which will be attended by nine Bulgarian SMEs in the ICT sector. The national stand will be represented by the companies ARFID - Sofia, CLEAN CODE FACTORY - Sofia, Devision - Sofia, Entegra - Varna, Extensa Web Development - Sofia, Findy - Sofia, INFOSOURCE BULGARIA - Sofia, PRO SMART - Sofia and SMART TECH SYSTEMS - Plovdiv.

    Sensata Technologies opened its largest testing center in Sofia

    Sensata Technologies opened its largest testing center in Sofia to support its core business with sensor technologies for the automotive industry, the company announced on March 13, quoted by Reuters.

    In late February "Senso Technologies Bulgaria" - the local unit of the leading world company, won the grand prize of the Bulgarian Investment Agency "Investor of the Year 2016". Nicolae-Daniel Viashu, operations manager, accepted the award from Prime Minister Gerdjikov at a special ceremony on 23 February in Sofia.

    Kaufland Bulgaria launches mobile shopping application

    On March 13, Kaufland Bulgaria launched an interactive mobile application Kaufland-App for customers, allowing a shopping lists and their shared management in real time. The platform provides access to over 500 recipes and the option to view weekly offers.

    Interactive opportunity to create a shopping list and share it with other family members or friends helps users to plan necessary purchases to avoid duplication of products or forgetting to buy others. With the new application every user can add new items in real time and log already made purchases.

    GraphDB Ontotext will be used by the publisher Springer Nature

    The prestigious publisher of scientific literature Springer Nature chose semantic base GraphDB developed by the Bulgarian company Ontotext. It will be built into the new SciGraph platform - which aggregates information from various sources from Springer Nature and other academic publishers - key partners.

    The software will increase the capacity of the publishing platform SciGraph, containing billions of records. The technology helps publishing platforms to collect high-quality data from academic and research organizations, research projects, conferences, affiliated partners of publications etc. The platform enriches data with semantic descriptions and gives links to the information in a visually powerful way.

    GraphDB allows collection of metadata from scientific journals and articles, books, chapters, almanacs, conference papers, reports on experiments and other forms of quantitative research, publications, articles, opinions studios created based on research grants, patents, clinical trials and others.

    IoT team of VMware Bulgaria presented at MWC in Barcelona

    IoT solution for the automotive industry developed by the team on VMware Bulgaria was presented at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The solution is based on the new IoT product line of VMware.

    Vivacom will hire 100 trainees for summer 2017

    Vivacom opened 100 free internship positions this summer. The extensive internship program of the telecom now runs for 14 consecutive years, under the motto "VIVA Z - Talent of the Future."

    TELUS International Europe will hire 100 employees in Plovdiv

    Outsourcing company TELUS International Europe is looking to hire another 100 employees in Plovdiv. Open positions are mainly with German and French language requirements and the company plans to fill them until 30 April. This was announced on March 8, after the presentation of long-term plans of TELUS for development in the city. Among the customers of the company are world leaders in online payments, tourism and high-tech sector.

    "Our plans are to continue to develop in Plovdiv, as well as to continue to attract new customers to businesses here.     Daskal.eu now allows publishing and selling content

    New functionalities allow professors to publish their own articles, books, videos and other educational materials on the platform Daskal.eu. According to the creators of the site students and people interested in studying can get access to valuable materials, and even enroll for a private lesson.

    Another innovation in the platform is the option to record teacher lessons through virtual whiteboard.
